LATE NEWS AND CHANGES TO PROGRAMME

Note: walk Sunday May 25th   (from walk leader)

Having explored 2 options for the walk, it will now be 7.5 miles instead of 5 m. This is because I feel the risks involved in the 1st and 2nd options are not worth taking. I will explain further on the day. In view of the longer distance please feel free to bring lunch, though we can have a stop at a pub along the route. It will still start at Chadwick End as per program. Please could you all pass this message on to anyone not on my mailing list.  Thank you.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Note: Our programme of evening walks has started.

Have a look at our current programme and consider coming along on the next one. They are from 3 to 4½ miles and not too demanding but you will need good supportive footwear since field paths are uneven and may be muddy. Let’s hope for some nice dry evenings and lovely sunsets (but it’s not unknown for some to bring an umbrella - just in case).

General note on programmed events:

Wet weather or snow does not usually stop a walk going ahead unless dangerous  to walk or to travel e.g. due to riverside paths or road conditions. An outbreak or concern of livestock disease can also stop walks; so contact the walk leader beforehand if in doubt.
